PURPOSE:To prevent a split error caused by the presence of an unknown word, by selecting positions splitting Kana train based on an evaluation value and result of Kana-Kanji conversion, through the output of difference evaluation value in response to proficiency of Kanji conversion. CONSTITUTION:An input Kana train signal K is inputted to a power write control section 1, and a partial Kana t-ain signal K' from the section 1 is inputted to a partial Kana-Kanji conversion section 2. The section 2 makes the train signal K' to a syllables to make Kana conversion in the syllable unit. A mixed Kanji signal c converted from the section 2 is applied to the section 1 to input a conversion proficiency signal x and Kana number signal n to an evaluation calculating section 3. The section 3 makes a specified operation based on the signals x and n, an evaluation signal d is inputted to the section 1 to select the split position and the result of Kana-Kanji conversion from the section 1, and a resulting signal R is outputted from the section 1. |
