PURPOSE:To achieve enlarged display of a high frequency picture such as TV picture, by using a large deflection angle and high speed scanning through the use of a thin film waveguide type deflector and combining them with a temporary recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A thin film waveguide 2 made of a metal such as Ti is formed on the surface of a piezoelectric plate 1 such as LiNbO3, and the radiating plane of a semiconductor laser 3 the output of which is modulated with a video signal is adhered to the waveguide 2, and a laser beam is made incident to the waveguide 2. A collimator lens 4 and a condenser lens 5 are formed to the waveguide 2, and a point image 10 is formed at the end of the waveguide. Surface acoustic waves are generated from an elastic transducer 7 of the waveguide 2 and a beam 12 from a crystal radiation end 6 is formed to a crystal cell 15 via a projective lens 13 and a galvano mirror 14. The point image is longitudinally moved on a cell 15 plane by vibrating this mirror 14. The cell 15 is given with a temporary recording performance, and the high frequency picture such as TV picture is enlarged and pictured on a screen 25. |
