In a device for the diversion of a flow in separate directions as a function of the flow temperature, the flow line (1) opens into an intermediate piece (2) having an inlet and an outlet orifice (4, 6). The outlet orifice (6) of the intermediate piece (2) is pivotable in at least one plane. A temperature sensor (10) in contact with the flow controls the pivoting of the outlet orifice (6) in the direction intended for the particular temperature range. Preferably, a bimetallic element is provided as a temperature sensor and the intermediate piece is pivoted by means of the force generated during the bending of the bimetallic element (10).
