PURPOSE:To execute both-side copying at high speed with simple structure, by making a copy on the other side of a one-side copied paper without once extruding the one-side copied paper with a copying paper detection signal and a specified timing signal. CONSTITUTION:A one-side copied transfer paper is received in a container formed on the route of single-side copying at high speed by reverse rotation of an extrusion roller in accordance with detection of the backward, end of the paper, left there on standby, held on the forward end with a register roller. When this paper is detected optically, a high-level paper detection signal PDPC indicating that the paper is set at the standby position appears on a terminal 212. On the other hand, an optical system forward-movement pulse PFSA on a terminal 301, a both-side copy latch pulse BCPL on a terminal 217, an optical system forward-movement latch pulse on a terminal 284, and the like control signals appear, and paper feed command PECP, etc. are produced via an AND gate 305, an OR circuit 306, AND gates 310, 308, etc., to control the register roller, an extrusion roller, etc., executing other-side copying and extrusion of the paper, thus permitting even both-side copying on a single sheet of paper to be rapidly done with simple structure. |
