<p>A balancing rope of circular section, for vertical conveying in hoisting plants of deep mines, is provided with an anticorrosive protection comprising a coating 1 of an elastic material resistant to corrosion extending along the whole length of the rope. The coating does not fully fill up gaps among rope strands 2 and forms a sealed sheath on the rope surface, the internal surface 5 of which sheath is adapted to the shape of rope surface. <IMAGE></p> |
