PURPOSE:To make debugging of ROMs easy, by storing the content of storage in an ROM of a microcomputer to be debugged to an RAM and writing the content in the ROM after the end of debug. CONSTITUTION:In debugging of a microcomputer 1, first a CPU1 and an ROM1 are removed from the computer 1. Next, a plug 8 is connected to a socket 2. A debugging device 6 is operated and a CPU2 is connected to an ROM2 with a changeover switch 9. Thus, the CPU2 executes a program for debug stored in an ROM3. Accordingly, the circuit 9 connects the CPU2 to an RAM1. The storage content of the ROM1 is stored to the RAM1 from a cassette recorder and reproducer 12 via the circuit 9 and also to an RAM2. Thus, the stored content of the ROM1 is stored in the RAMs 1 and 2. Thus, the CPU2 executes the program stored in the ROM3. |
