PURPOSE:To perform image pickup operation which synchronizes with the number of fields of a standard TV system, by an 8mm. cinecamera of 18 frames/ second, by advancing a film at a speed of 20 frames/second by stopping the rotation of a discoidal shutter for a prescribed period on detecting the film loosed. CONSTITUTION:A shutter disk 23 equipped with an opening part 23a and a light shielding part 23b having a narrower angular range than it rotates at a prescribed speed to advance a film 24 at a 20 frames/second speed during a vertical synchronizing period when a film 24 is opposed to the light shielding part 23b. Then, the film 24 fed at a constant speed of 18 frames/second for recording through a capstan 26a is loosed, which is detected by a detection switch 40 to control the energizing of an electromagnet, etc., thereby stopping the disk 23 for a certain period. Therefore, the film is advanced at the speed of 20 frames/second to perform image pickup operation which synchronizes with pictures having a speed of 60 fields/second of a standard TV system, by using an 8mm. cinecamera of 18 frames/second, thus obtaining excellent pictures wherein no shutter bar appears. |
