A description is given of a device for the non-positive coupling of two displaceably guided tie rods, the device making it possible to adapt the course of the tie rods directly to the respective local circumstances. For this purpose, a cranked tie-rod portion is provided consisting of a central part and two end parts which are bent relative to this central part, in the same plane, and can be cut to length, and this tie-rod portion is assigned coupling sleeves of angular design which have a first clamp socket for the respective end part and a second clamp socket for the tie rod to be connected, the axes of the two clamp sockets running at an angle to one another which is equal to the angle between the central part and the end part of the cranked tie-rod portion.
