Switching drive for high-voltage circuit breakers

In the case of high-voltage circuit breakers having multiple interruption - that is to say there are two or more switching units on one switch pole - one of the important factors is to supply the drive force of the circuit breaker main drive to the individual switching units via a drive which is designed as economically as possible. Although a certain level has already been reached in this field, there are still significant improvement possibilities. The following items summarise how these improvements have essentially been implemented: integration of the drive levers to form a compact drive body with a switching-force drive and two or more switching-force output drives. Reduction in the number of supports of the drive levers to a single shaft for the drive body according to the invention. Universal applicability of the mechanically and dielectrically advantageous principle of parallel output drive of the switching forces to the individual switching units as a direct consequence of the improvements mentioned above.
