The invention relates to a device with a cylindrical cavity for receiving a commercially available filter cartridge and cleaning tablet, a feed connecting piece and discharge connecting piece, and the housing with screw-on cover, and thus forms a cleaning filter unit which is included in the feed line and has a cleaning tablet to prevent stoppages at the spray nozzles in window washing systems in such a form that when the window washing system is activated the cleaning fluid flows around the cleaning tablet, partially dissolves it and emerges at the spray nozzles having been cleaned of suspended matter by the cleaning filter.
