<p>An assembly for connection to the exhaust system of an internal-combustion engine comprises a cylinder in which first piston means and second piston means are fitted. There are also first deflection means which are placed between said first and second piston means in order to deflect said first piston means from said second piston means and second deflection means which deflect said second piston means in the same direction as said first piston means. Inlet means are provided on the opposite side of said first and second piston means from said first and second deflection means in order to apply pressure to said first piston means. The pressure applied means that, initially, the first piston means approach said second piston means and that, next, said first and second piston means pass together from a first position to a second position. A piston-connection rod interconnects said first piston means and a slide of the exhaust brake valve.</p> |
