<p>1. Gas lighting apparatus comprising : an elongated burner (2), provided with an inlet for combustible gas and primary comburent air, and with an outlet intended to be covered by an incandescence mantle (4) ; a cupel (9) traversed by the burner (2), situated between the inlet and outlet of the latter, of substantially perpendicular extension in relation to the said burner (2), comprising at least one evacuation orifice (9a) for the combustion fumes when the outlet of the said burner is directed downwards ; a cloche (7) traversed at its centre by the burner (2), situated between the inlet of the latter and the cupel (9), the convexity of which is directed towards the outlet of the said burner (2) ; an injector (5) in communication on one side with the inlet of the burner (2) and on the other with a supply means of combustible gas ; a glass (12) for the protection of the incandescence mantle (4), and means (13, 14) for the removable attachment of the latter on the cupel (9), characterized in that an elongated brace (8) surrounds the burner (2) in a continuous manner and at a distance therefrom, and is mounted on one side on the cloche (7) and on the other side on the cupel (9), the orifice (9a, 9b) for the evacuation of the fumes being on the exterior of the brace, and in that the burner (2) traverses the cupel (9) through an aperture (9c) fitting the local section of the said burner, the cloche forming a base when the outlet of the said burner is directed upwards.</p> |
