<p>The method is based on that the material web during each forward feeding is advanced a distance which exceeds the correct distance between two transverse lines by the fault margin, so that subsequently, before the next forward feeding, it is restored to a correct position, not affected by any faults in the distance between the crease lines.
<??>An arrangement for the carrying out of the method comprises, beside a driving element in the form of a driven roller (23) situated in contact with the material web, also a register-holding element (13) which comprises drivers (16), which engage with the transverse crease lines (3), and which after each forward feeding, with simultaneous disengagement of the driving element, restores the web a certain distance so as to place the crease lines into the said correct position. </p> |
