<p>An iron based, boron containing magnetic alloy having at least 85 percent of its structure in the form of an amorphous metal matrix is annealed in the absence of a magnetic field at a temperature and for a time sufficient to induce precipitation therein of discrete particles of its constituents. The resulting alloy has decreased high frequency core losses and increased low field permeability; is particularly suited for high frequency applications.</p> |
