PURPOSE:To execute a monitor program during an operation as a copying machine and to suitably check an operation state by providing a substitute switching means which alternates and operates a means which allows an operation key and a display device to operate for their original functions and a monitoring means during the operation of the copying machine. CONSTITUTION:The copying machine 1 is equipped with a substitute changeover switch 9 and when this substitute changeover switch 9 is off, a copying machine operation and display program 3 is executed and the monitor program 8 is not executed. When the switch is on, on the other hand, the monitor program 8 is executed and the copying operation and display program 3 is not executed. Consequently, the operation state is easily checked while the operation of the copying machine is carried on. |
