<p>A valve, particularly a steam trap, has a main closure part (6) arranged at the inlet pressure side (1), a pressure chamber (22) located at the low pressure side (2) containing a pressure-reactive control member in the form of a plunger (9) for the main closure part (6), as well as a control channel (12) connecting the inlet pressure side (1) to the pressure chamber (2) and a pilot closure part (14) controlling the inlet of the control channel (12). The control channel has two throttle outlets (19, 20), one (20) of which leads into the pressure chamber (22) and the other (19) of which is connected to the low pressure chamber (2).
