<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a decorative sheet having a reticulated crack pattern, by applying a film-forming reaction-setting resin solution or the like to a substrate, further applying a starch paste solution to the resin-applied surface, and then drying the coating layer to form cracks. CONSTITUTION:Film-forming synthetic resin emulsion is applied to a substrate 11, e.g. a mtal plate or a glass plate, which has an untreated surface or a directly print or pattern-applied surface, to form a base coat 12. The base coat is dried into a semi-fluid or semi-cured state. Thereafter, a starch paste solution is applied to the surface of the base coat 12, to form a crack layer. Cracks 13 are properly formed in the crack layer and the base coat 12. Thereafter, the crack layer is removed by washing it with water, the base coat 12 is removed by washing it with water, and then the base coat is completely dried and cured. Thus, a decorative sheet is obtained.</p> |
