This wall (1) comprises a hollow and continuous inflatable peripheral joint element (7) made of elastic material forming an airtight enclosure which can be inflated by means of a flap valve. The inflation of the joint element both holds the wall in place and seals its junction with the framing walls of the premises (4, 5) which it divides. Its deflation enables the wall to be moved (F) in order to periodically modify the volume of these premises. This wall can be permanently immobilised at a selected position by inflating the joint element (7) with an expansible plastic material. <IMAGE>
