The known devices for the reinforcement of tunnels and for analogous uses have the drawback that, if the rock does not have a completely compact structure, the anchorage elements, with which they are fitted, tend to slacken in the cavity (3) into which they have been inserted; moreover, they are subject to deterioration as a consequence of the infiltration of water into this cavity (3), owing to the lack of compactness of the rock. These latter drawbacks are avoided with the device in question by injecting binder material into the cavity containing the anchorage element, providing for this purpose a first hole (4), which extends lengthwise in the stem (1) of this device, and a second hole (8) for expelling the air which is displaced as a consequence of the injection of the binder material. <IMAGE>
