PURPOSE:To automatically correct the gap between a shoe and a drum and to maintain constant, by only rotary sliding a cam lever in response to the shoe enlarging operation. CONSTITUTION:When the motion of a shoe 3 exceeds over a gap D due to the abrasion of a shoe lining 2, the arm section 15 of a cam lever 9 will co-operate with the shoe 3 and a cam lever 9 will move against the force of a spring 14 to the departing direction in the range of the longitudinal direction of an elongated hole 6 made between a pin 8 and a supporting board 5 thus to release the engagement between a tooth section 9' and a grooved collar thereby the cam lever 9 will rotate around the pin 8. Thereafter the brake is released to engage the tooth section 9' and the toothed collar 13 by the spring force 14. Here the engaging section will be brought to new position thereby the gap between the shoe 3 and the drum can be maintained constant continuously. |
