摘要 |
The optically readable information structure comprises marks which differ visually from the spaces between them. The marks consist of surfaces which stand proud of the background surface, so that when an optic detector is used quite different signals are received from the marks as compared with their intermediary spaces. Due to the difference in surface structures, even when the whole surface is painted over, the detector still records the variation. The marks are formed by body structures of adhesive impregnated with granular material. - The optic detector used involves two angularly adjusted lamps and a strip code reader in the form of a television camera. The camera is in turn connected to a decoder for analysis of the strip code. The analysis results are presented in decimal form on an indicator. (Provisional Basic advised week 84/16) |
