PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound in high yield in high purity useful as an intermediate for vitamin K1 and K2, by deacylating a diacyl derivative of vitamin K4 in the presence of a carbonate or bicarbonate of an alkali metal such as potassium carbonate, sodium cabonate. CONSTITUTION:In preparing a monoacyl derivative of vitamin K4 by deacylating a diacyl derivative of vitamin K4 (acetyl group is preferable as acryl group), the reaction is carried out in the presence of a carbonate or bicarbonate of an alkali metal such as K2CO3, Na2CO3, NaHCO3, KHCO3, more preferably under a reducing condition. EFFECT:A simple method, no danger, safe, and an extremely short reaction time. |
