<p>An end connecting piece (1) for a hose (4) contains an insert (2) which is held on the end section of the hose and a sleeve (3) which is pushed on around the hose end piece and is compressed around the insert in order to grip the hose end piece between the sleeve and insert. The axial position of the components with respect to one another is effected by a single circumferential projection (3a) on the sleeve, which projection is directed radially inwards, is arranged between a radially outwardly directed circumferential stop (2b) on the insert and the end of the hose end piece, and engages with both. The sleeve and the insert can be clamped or locked in the axial direction during the compression process in that mutual engagement of complementary constructions (2b and 3d; 3b and 2b) takes place. The sleeve projection (3a), which effects the axial alignment of the components during compression, is provided with an internal diameter which is less than the external diameter of the adjacent insert stop (2b) and is designed such that its region located furthest inwards radially flexes when contact with the insert takes place during the compression process. <IMAGE></p> |
