Non-load-bearing, fireproof wall

The constituent parts of the wall are a load-bearing framework (4), an insulating core (2) and covering panels (3). The load-bearing framework (4) is produced from U-profiles in which the insulating core (2) is held. Strips (10) of fireproof material are arranged on the outer sides of the load-bearing framework (4) in order to protect the latter from the direct effect of flames. The load-bearing framework (4) is covered on both sides with non-combustible covering panels (3) which bear directly on the strips (10). This results in a relatively thin, non-load-bearing, fireproof wall which is easy to mount and demount. <IMAGE>
