PURPOSE:To heighten the pressure of a blower, reduce its noise and simplify its shape, by providing a plurality of vanes on two or three concentric circles between the main plat and side plate of the impeller of the blower and opening the outlet part of the impeller in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:An impeller 15 comprises a main plate 16, a side plate 17, first blades 18 and second blades 19. A casing 22 has a suction port 24 which is located in the central part of the casing and corresponds to the inlet part 20 of the impeller 15. The casing 22 also has a fan outlet port 25 which is opened in a position corresponding to that of the suction port 24. The casing 22 is fitted with guide blades 26 so that the flow from the outlet part 21 of the impeller 15 is smoothly conducted to the blower outlet port 25 without losing energy. The flow from the rear end of the first blade 18 is pressurized by the second blade 19 and then smoothly turned into the axial direction as the flow enters into the inlet part of the guide blade 26 from the outlet part 21 of the impeller. For that reason, no energy loss is caused. |
