PURPOSE:To minimize loss of lubricating oil and supply lubricating oil effectively to the oil passage inside the main shaft, by installing a funnel consisting of an oil sump and guide pipe at the end of the trough. CONSTITUTION:A funnel 60 is installed at the support 44 side end of the trough 43. The funnel 60 is composed of an oil sump 61, which reserves lubricant supplied through the trough 43, and guide pipe 62, which is connected to the bottom 61a of the oil sump 61 and supplies lubricant in the sump 61 to the support 44. A boss 46 of the support 44 is formed in a continuous annular shape and, at the upper thick-walled part of it, a penetration hole 63 having approximately the same diameter with that of the guide pipe 62 is formed to provide a through- path from inside to outside of the boss 46. The guide pipe 62 is fitted into this penetration hole 63 so that the lubricant in the sump 61 is supplied to the gap delta through the guide pipe 62 and the penetration hole 63. |
