<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled thin bottle having a high gas-shielding property, by coating an unsaturated polyester resin parison, whose surface is activated by flame-treatment or the like, with highly gas-shielding resin, and then biaxially elongating the resultant laminate parison. CONSTITUTION:An unsaturated polyester resin single layer parison 11 is prepared. Its surface to be coated is activated by gas flame-treatment 15 or corona discharge-treatment and then optionally oxidation using an oxidizing agent. Thereafter, the outside surface of the body part 12 and the bottom 13 of the single layer parison 11 is coated with high gas-shielding resin 14, e.g. AN resin, a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, polyamide resin copolymerized with nylon 6 and/or nylon 66 or vinylidene chloride, by an insert-forming method to form a laminate parison 10. This laminate parison is biaxially elongated into an objective bottle 1.</p> |
