PURPOSE:To permit transfer of only the emulsion layer on which an image is formed to a card base material and to obtain a card having the good image by superposing the surface of the adhesive agent layer of an image transfer sheet on which the photographic emulsion layer and the adhesive agent layer are laminated and the surface of the card base material and pressurizing or/and heating the material from the transfer sheet side. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the adhesive agent layer 4 of the image transfer sheet 10 laminated with the photographic emulsion layer on which the image is formed and the adhesive agent layer 4 in this order via a release layer 2 on a base 1 and the surface of the card base material are superposed and the material is pressurized or/and heated from the transfer sheet 1 side, by which the photographic emulsion layer 3 formed with the image is transferred onto the card base material and the card having the image is produced. The formation of the image intrinsic to the card onto the card by only emulsion layer of the photographic paper is thereby permitted and, therefore, the projection of the formed image part from the card base material is obviated and the image forming card having a good style and good card runnability is obtd. |
