PURPOSE:To improve fuel cost by a method wherein a shift lever synchronizing switch and a wheel clutch synchronizing switch are connected in parallel in an idle-up unit driving circuit which controls operations of the idle-up unit. CONSTITUTION:When a car is not in motion, the shift lever is located at the neutral position or the car clutch is released. Therefore, switches 6, 7 are ON, the current flows in the electric circuits of the negative pressure changeover value 8 for the idle-up unit and the idle-up unit operates. In other words, only when the magnet clutch 9 for a cooler compressor operates under no load on an engine, the idle-up unit operates. At the running time or the engine brake time the car clutch is connected and accordingly both of the switches 6, 7 are OFF and the idle-up unit does not work. |
