PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive recording material which enables a color development with a high density at a low temperature while being free from color development due to friction and a pressure and a stinking phenomena by containing two kinds of special compounds in a leuco dye and an acid substance. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of compounds A as given by FormulaI(where, Ar represents a benzene rung or a naphthalene ring which remains unsubstituted or is substituted with a methyl group, a ethyl group, a hydroxy group or the like, R1 an alkyl group with C1-6, R2 and R3 H, CH3, C2H5) and at least one kind of a compound B as given by Formulas II-IV (R4-R9 represent an alkyl group with C10-30) are contained in a heat-sensitive color developing layer containing a coloreless or light leuco dye and an acid substance. The quantity of the compound A used is set prefereably at 0.5-5pts.wt./wt. part of the leuco dye and that of the compound B used at 0.2-3pts.wt./wt. part of the compound A. |
