PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a recorder and to effectively prevent the transformation of a recording medium, by detecting the deflection of a belt type recording medium and correcting the deflection of the recording medium by a control means attached to a roller based on the detection of the deflection. CONSTITUTION:An endless belt type recording medium 2 on a conveying roller 3 engages a contact piece 20a of a detecting filler 20, and the filler 20 turns centering on a fulcrum 19a. a light shielding blade 20b engages with a photointerrupter 21 to be detected. The shafts 3a and 3b of the roller 3 engage with an L-shaped control arm 110 and a fixed arm 109 respectively. The arm 110 engages with a spring 115 and an arm 114a of a solenoid 114 at a vertical part. A horizontal part 110a moves to vertical directions P and Q to vary the positions of both end parts of the belt 2 and to control the deflection of the belt 2. |
