PURPOSE:To obtain convenient heating effect and mood illumination effect in a heater such as various stoves which emit heat and light by covering a heat source with a transparent or translucent cylinder and arranging a net member via a heat insulating gap on the outer periphery. CONSTITUTION:A transparent or translucent cylinder 6 made of porcelain, glass or refractory synthetic resin or the like is provided to surround a combustion unit 3 which burns fuel absorbed up by a wick in a convection side petroleum stove. A net member is arranged via a heat insulating gap 12 on the outer periphery of the cylinder 6, this net member 7 employs fine metal lath to be superposed as seen from lateral direction, and the net pieces 7a of the lath are preferably elevationally inclined, and are mirror-finished with chromium. The cylinder 6 and the member 7 are held between an upper L-shaped ring 8 and a holding ring 10, and holes 13a, 13b are provided at the position faced with the gap 12 at the rings 8, 10. |
