PURPOSE:To cast plural pieces of singla-flanged pipes centrifugally and efficiently at one time by providing plural cylindrical dies and dies partitioning the casting spaces thereof in a metal flask for centrifugal casting, and providing the casting spaces for integral forming of flanges between both dies. CONSTITUTION:Plural cylindrical dies 3 are formed into a metal flask 1 for centrifugal casting by interposing dies for partitioning casting spaces A. Flange casting spaces B and casting faces S1 forming socket parts S are formed on both end faces of the partitioned dies 4. The dies 3, 4 are rotated integrally with the flask 1, and molten metal is supplied through the openings of bands 2 and is cooled and hardened while it is formed to a cylindrical shape by centrifugal force. Thence, single-flanged pipe P are removed together with the cylindrical dies 3 and the dies 3 are separated from the pipes P, whereby plural pieces of single-flanged centrifugally cast pipes P and the dies 3, 4 are recovered. |
