<p>The globe is inflated from a flexible envelope (1). This has two projections, diametrically opposite. The lower one (4) has an inflation hole (5), closed by a stopper (6). The globe is fixed on to a movable base (7). On the base is a sloping projection (9), in which is a blind recess (10). This houses the lower end of the stopper so that the globe may be rotated. The base may consist of a suction pad. When deflated, the globe can be packed away in a small space.</p> |
