The joiner's cramp is used to secure edge mouldings on the corner of a composite panel, comprising a frame with a clamp and a perpendicular anchorage finger on opposite ends. The clamp comprises a bolt screwing into an internally threaded sleeve, one end of the bolt having a driving handle whilst the other locates a pad transmitting pressure to the work. The clamp and finger may be mounted on the same side of the frame which may comprise a straight length of steel bar. Alternatively, the frame may have a 'U' shape with the clamp fixed to one leg and the finger constituting an extension of the other leg. The finger may have a round cross section and engage a panel hole whilst the clamp pushes the moulding onto the panel edge.
|
