PURPOSE:To prevent damage to damper leads by a method wherein the end sections of the damper leads provided at the opposite ends of each pole are short- circuited at between a pole iron core and a spider by using short-circuit bars. CONSTITUTION:In a short-circuit device consisting of damper bars provided at the external circumference of the magnetic poles of each pole in a salient-pole rotor, damper leads 4 provided at the opposite ends of each pole are bent at between a pole iron core 1 and a spider 9 and connected to short-circuit bars 6. In this way, the damper leads 4 are permitted to be bent immediately after connecting the damper bars 2 to the damper leads 4 and the damper leads 4 will not be damaged during transportation. Furthermore, a field coil 5 will not be damaged as well. |
