<p>PURPOSE:To easily open and close a roof window even for its changed curvature, by such constitution that a window hole is provided in the front part of a roof panel and U-shaped rail is arranged by surrounding the window hole then engagement elements, protrusively provided in both front and rear sides of a window plate, are slidably inserted to said rail. CONSTITUTION:When a window plate 4 is closed, curvature of the window plate 4 is coincident with curvature of a rail 2, then sealing can be completely performed by a weather strip 5. Further front and rear engagement elements 6 hold the window plate 4 to the rail 2, then the engagement elements 6 can be moved sliding in the rail 2 when the window plate 4 is moved backward and opened even if its curcature is different from the rail. A function of the sealing is not required to be considered for the roof window 4 when opened in fine weather. In this way, the window can be easily opened and closed even for its changed curvature.</p> |
