PURPOSE:To prevent the waste of time in recording an answering message on an answering tape, by recording a signal tone at a message unrecorded part and by setting a recording state on detecting the signal tone after the transmission of the answering message when an incoming signal arrives. CONSTITUTION:A recording key 10 is turned on to record a message on a tape 2. When an end key 20 is turned on the completion of the recording, a control circuit 1 energizes a signal tone generator 4, whose signal tone is recorded right after the message on the tape 20. When an incoming signal is generated when a subscriber is absence, an answering tape driving circuit 3 and an answering tape reproducing circuit 6 are energized to send the message. On the message transmission, a signal tone detector 7 detects the signal tone and energizes a message tape driving circuit 11 and a message tape recording circuit 12. Consequently, a message from a calling subscriber is recorded immediately to prevent the wast of time required for tape switching. |
