The invention relates to a moisture indicator as a ball-headed indicator for the air gap of an insulating laminated-glass element. By a change of colour shade, the indicator indicates the state of moisture of the included gas. By means of a small glass or plastic ball (1), the surface of which is coated with a cobalt chloride solution (2) or equivalent and which has a pin (3) and is fastened by sticking it in within the air gap of an insulating glazing in the surrounding special profiled frame. <IMAGE>
