<p>Processing method is claimed for sealed internally-sterile and unevacuated empty glass ampoules in a machine filling and sealing them. They are indexed through stations burning them open, filling, and resealing them. Each ampoule, with its tip, burnt open at the end, aimed upwards, is tilted to bring the tip into a horizontal position, in which the ampoule is flushed out with sterile gas. It can be tilted still further, to point the tip downwards. Design ensures removal of any glass splinters before filling.</p> |
