The device for sucking paint mists and solvent vapours coming from a gun painting installation allows to make a better use of the filtering surface by improving the efficiency and reducing the over-all size. The filtering portion (1, 1A), having a box shape, has a metal sheet bottom (32) which is partially open, located at a small distance from the ground, and has at least one lower deflector (5) parallel to the ground. Furthermore, the whole gun painting installation is a modular construction composed of the suction box (31), the filtering portion (1, 1A) and a fan (2), the filtering box having on its bottom metal sheet staggered vertical filtering surfaces (9, 10). |
