The invention relates to a device for cutting a bevel on a kerb by means of a percussion implement, in particular a pneumatic percussion implement, and essentially consists of a chassis with at least three running wheels which are arranged on the chassis in accordance with the corners of an essentially right-angled triangle, the percussion implement being arranged in the area of an acute angle of the triangle at the rear running wheel in the direction of travel. At least in the area of one of two running wheels arranged one behind the other in the direction of travel, the chassis is equipped with a stop for guiding the relevant running wheel along the kerb edge to be worked, the axis of rotation of this running wheel running at an acute horizontal angle obliquely to the guide direction of the stop so that the chassis is positively guided along a working length.
