PURPOSE:To simplify a driver for a mirror, by using a clutch, which is operated by a solenoid, to selectively transmit the output of a driving motor to a screw rod for tilting the mirror. CONSTITUTION:Worms 7, 8 are mounted on the rotary shaft 9 of a driving motor 6 so that the worms can be rotated. Dog clutches 10, 11 are integrally provided on the ends of the worms 7, 8. A movable clutch 12 is provided between the dog clutches 10, 11 so that the movable clutch can be connected to or disconnected from the dog clutches by a solenoid 13. Worm wheels 14, 15 secured on screw rods 17, 18 are engaged with the worms 7, 8 to selectively transmit the torque of the motor 6 to the worms through the action of the movable clutch 12. The inclination of a mirror can be adjusted by operating the screw rods 17, 18. |
