PURPOSE:To display the time between optional points as a numeric value, by comparing contents of address counters for a memory with each other to obtain the interval of time between these points in the signal display device where an analogue signal is stored in a memory and is displayed on a CRT screen. CONSTITUTION:An analogue signal is sampled at a period gamma and is subjected to D/A conversion, and obtained data is stored in a display memory 1. This data is read out successively in accordance with a clock pulse CL applied to a display address counter 5 and is converted to an analogue signal in a circuit 2 and is applied to a deflecting circuit 3 and is displayed on a CRT. Clock pulse P1 and P2 whose numbers correspond to addresses of the memory corresponding to two optional points are applied to address set counters 6 and 7 and are compared with each other in a circuit 10, and clock pulse CL corresponding to their difference are counted by a counter 12. Contents of the counter 12 are multiplied by the sampling period gamma in a multiplier 13 to obtain an interval of time between two points, and this interval T is displayed on a display part 14. |
