PURPOSE:To form an underground pile which can oppose a horizontal force produced due to an earthquake power, by a method wherein a plural number of small-sized holes are bored in a ground to fill them with mortar to form an underground pile, and after the underground piles are coupled to each other, a pillar is erected through a footing. CONSTITUTION:A plural number of small-sized holes 1 are bored to a given depth in a construction site G. The hole 1 is filled with mortar to construct an undergound pile 2. Before mortar in the pile 2 cures, a connecting member 3, coupling together the piles, is inserted. The connecting member 3 consists of leg parts 3a, which are inserted into their respective holes 1, a connecting rod 3b for connecting together the leg parts, and a steel connecting plate 3c. Vibration or an pressing force is applied to the connecting rod 3b to press the connecting rod 3b and the connecting plate 3c for burying. A footing 4 is placed to the upper part of the underground pile 2 and the connecting member 3 to monolithically build a pillar 5 and the footing 4. |
