PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the discoloration, specks, etc. on the inside surfaces of steel battery cases and to dry the battery cases efficiently by plating and washing the battery cases in barrels then immersing the same in specific water emulsifiable rust preventive oils per barrel then drying these successively in ordinary temp. and boiled CF3CCl3. CONSTITUTION:Steel battery cases are put in plastic barrels and are pretreated, after which they are carried out with Ni plating and are washed. Next, said washed battery cases are immersed into the emulsion prepd. by adding 20-50 parts water to a water emulsifiable rust preventive oil prepd. by adding animal fatty acid ester and alkanol amine to a mineral paraffinic oil, and are revolved by each of the barrels. Next, the cases are removed from the emulsions by each barrel and are immediately immersed in CF3CCl3 liquid of ordinary temp., and the barrels are rotated to allow water drops to float. Thereafter, the CF3CCl3 is boiled, and the barrels are rotated in the vapor phase generated by this, to drain off the liquid of the CF3CCl3 stuck on the battery cases, whereby the cases are dried. |
