PURPOSE:To manufacture a magnetic tape whose level change is within the permitted limit by evaporating Fe, Co, Ni or an alloy thereof with an evaporating container composed of an outer container of MgO or Al2O3 and an inner container of ZrO2. CONSTITUTION:An outer container 1 is made of MgO or Al2O3, and an inner container 2 of ZrO2 is formed at the inside of the container 1 by a stamping method or a coating method. When the container 1 is made of MgO and Al2O3, the thickness of the container 2 is regulated to about 5-15mm. and about 5-10mm., respectively, and it is independent of the size and shape of the container 1. The purity of ZrO2 is increased as required, and a binder may be used. |
