PELLET WORKPIECE CONTAINER BOAT LOADING APPARATUS

A pellet workpiece collecting and transfer apparatus for loading green pellet workpieces into a sintering container boat in preparation of high temperature firing of those workpieces. An initial check of the empty container boat is made to ensure that the container boat will accept a collected layer of pellet workpieces. Means are provided for loading the container which, when determined to be filled is released for movement away from the apparatus. With this arrangement destruction of pellets because of the presence of a pellet in the container is avoided.
