PURPOSE:To reduce the chattering sounds of gears at the time of a reverse shifting and enhance the operatability of reverse shifting by synchronizing a counter gear with an output shaft by pressing a fork shaft for forward stages at the time of a reverse shifting. CONSTITUTION:The speed changing gear is provided with an input shaft 103, the output shaft 13, the counter shaft 104 and the like for constituting a gear train by laterally arranging an extension housing 2, an inermediate plate 100, a casing 1 for the speed changing gear and a clutch housing 102. The fourth gear 114 is provided at one end of the input shaft 103, and the third gear 112 and the second gear 113 are provided on the output shaft 13 side of the fourth gear 14, with a synchronizing device 111 therebetween. The first gear 115, a reverse gear 16 and the fifth gear 116 are provided on the output shaft 13 side , with a synchronizing device 114 between the second gear 113 and the first gear 115. At the time of reverse shifting, the fork shaft for forward stages is operated and the counter gear 120 is synchronized with the output shaft 13 by a synchronizing device 122 for the forward stages. |
