SIGNAL ISOLATOR

摘要

The signal isolator includes two nonlinear ccts. having nonlinear voltage-to-current characteristics. An input network is formed by connecting one of the nonlinear ccts. in series with the primary winding of a transformer. An output network is formed by connecting the other nonlinear cct. and an averaging cct. in series with the secondary winding of the transformer. A pulse signal is applied to the input network. The utput network or the tertiary winding of the transformer develops an output signal corresponding to the input signal while the input network and the output network are isolated from each other with respect to direct current.
